Occasionally we get commissioned to build one-off items for various uses. For example, company Fibrax went to an exhibition in Germany and already had the stand and the graphics but needed some sort of display making for their product. They manufacture disc pads, rim pads, cables and similar for bicycles. They wanted three separate displays for their three core products.
We designed and built the units incorporating slat wall for displaying of the product, a lockable storage cabinet at the bottom with Perspex top on stand offs and their product – break pads – for the handles. The unit was painted in their corporate colour and branded.
Another recent project was developing a play table as the prototype that is currently on display at Hamleys of London, together with a display box for their toy boxes. The table top has a grove for the train track to sit in, a cut-out in the middle where the house sits. The house can be lifted to reveal a mesh storage with extra toys. There is also a small keyhole cut out on the side of the house for children to be able to see there are toys underneath it.
Following a test period at Hamleys we have been commissioned to make further two tables to be used at exhibitions, one in Germany and one in New York.
